Cox man just hooked up my new digital phone service. Which means I can get online. Yaayyyy! I have mail! Yaayy! I still only have dial-up, but I don’t care. I’m online!
P.S. Don’t get me started about Verizon. I guess it’s that Cavalier rep’s fault for telling me that I could transfer my old phone number here when they don’t service this neighborhood, but I also blame the 6 people I talked to after that (at Verizon, Cavalier AND Cox) who didn’t know any better either. So there.

oh i know what you mean about verizon – an at&t is no better. in fact, i haven’t yet met a phone carrier whom i like. i think the meaning of the word service has died. glad you got dial up though – i suppose it is worth the headaches if you can get connected.
