Why is Panera always COLD?!

Seems like any Panera I visit always has the A/C turned up too high. This morning I popped in to do some work online (and get a muffin) and the temp was actually pleasant. But when the pre-lunch rush starting coming in, so did a chilly breeze from teh ceiling. Are they trying to drive people out so they don’t sit too long? It’s annoying not only because it’s uncomfortable to sit and work, but the soup cools off way too fast. Grr!

Moving

What a long weekend. But not long enough. Still very many things to pack. I am scheduling movers to come on Friday, so that gives me a little bit of time. I would be more worried except that we have off the days before and after Thanksgiving this week, so essentially I have all day Wed and Thurs to finish things up and get them in a “grab and go” condition.

My dryer is now wired and hooked up (yay) but I still can’t get that rusted hose off the tap so I can connect the new washer hose. I don’t want to use the old hose because it must have a small leak — otherwise it wouldn’t have rusted tight. I’ll probably chat up some guys at Home Depot and see what they think, but I may end up calling a plumber to disconnect the tap and get the hose off, or to replace the tap altogether.
